Training, Refined.
Personal Training for people managing demanding lives in Sandy Springs and Greater Atlanta.

KAVANA’s method is science and evidence based built for people whose live's carry complexity. Training begins with assessment and unfolds through individualized design and consistent expert guidance. This allows progress to develop steadily across life stages, stress levels, and responsibilities. This approach integrates your real life into training rather than competing with it.
Assessment
We start by understanding how your body moves and tolerates stress. This is based on your history, current workload and daily demands. This information tells us what to train, what to avoid, and where to begin.
Design
Your program is built specifically for you and is adjusted as your strength, life and goals change. Training evolves as you do.
Guidance
You are not handed a plan and left alone. Expert coaches stay involved. Helping you make adjustments as life, stress and capacity shifts.
KAVANA is currently guided by two distinct but complementary perspectives. Danielle and Jessica bring different ways of seeing, assessing, and shaping physical development, allowing the work to be informed, adaptive, and grounded. Together, they hold a shared standard built on care, experience, and long range thinking.

GENERAL | PHILOSOPHY
What is KAVANA?
KAVANA is a private strength and performance studio focused on intelligent training, long-term health, and sustainable results. We specialize in coaching that respects anatomy, physiology, and the individual — not trends or cookie-cutter workouts.
Who is KAVANA for?
KAVANA is for people who value quality over quantity — clients who want to move better, feel stronger, and train in a thoughtful, personalized environment.
Is this a gym or personal training studio?
KAVANA is a coaching-based studio, not a traditional gym. Access is centered around working with a coach, not open-floor workouts.
What makes KAVANA different from other gyms or studios?
We prioritize assessment, technique, intelligent programming and periodization. Our focus is longevity, performance, and strength — not exhaustion for the sake of sweating.
TRAINING + PROGRAMMING
Do you work with beginners?
Yes. Many clients start with little to no training experience. We build a strong foundation first — movement quality ALWAYS comes before intensity.
Do you work with advanced or experienced lifters?
Absolutely. Programs are created based on the individual, whether you’re returning from injury, refining technique, or pushing performance goals.
What training styles do you use?
Training is rooted in traditional strength training, movement mechanics, and progressive overload, informed by biomechanics, anatomy, and modern performance principles. Specific training methodologies such as Postural Restoration, Functional Range Conditioning, Stick Mobility, etc., may be used depending on the needs of the individual.
Do you do group classes?
KAVANA primarily focuses on private and small-group coaching to ensure high attention to detail and quality instruction.
Is training customized for injuries or limitations?
Yes — within scope. We adapt training around injuries, joint limitations, and movement restrictions, and collaborate with healthcare providers when appropriate.
Your journey at KAVANA starts with understanding context. We use an initial consultation to learn how your schedule, stress load, and physical history intersect before collaborating with you on the next steps. The next steps involve an in-person assessment and goal setting with the best-suited coach.
Consultation
A focused conversation to understand goals, capacity, and fit.
Assessment
In-Person or Online assessment to gauge baseline movement patterns, posture, and body composition. The assessment will also involve a discussion of goal setting and how to best help you succeed. Training structure and level of involvement are defined based on assessment and discussion.
Ongoing Work
Guidance continues as you progress and goals evolve.
This step signals intention and readiness for guided work. Each request is reviewed carefully to understand context, goals, and fit. If alignment is present, you will be contacted with next steps. No additional action is required at this time.
